Accepting Factory Digital Projects: Yield, Delivery, and Inventory Must Move

Dipublikasikan: 2022-11-21 Sumber: 许愿牛科技

Acceptance that only checks login and reports stops at go-live ceremony. Compare yield, on-time delivery, and inventory to baseline—or operations never accepts the investment.

Implementation checklist done, demo smooth, contract in warranty. Three months later yield unchanged, delivery still chased, inventory higher. System is live; acceptance missed operations. Factory digital acceptance should compare before/after yield, on-time delivery, and inventory turns (or WIP) on chosen lines or categories—definitions aligned with finance and planning. System features are means; those three metrics decide payment.

Go-live ceremony OK. Payment conditions belong on metrics.

Lock Baseline Before Work Starts

Before transformation freeze: period, category scope, defect definition, delivery start/end, inventory definition. No new dashboards invented post-project for comparison. Parallel period may dip briefly—but acceptance window needs recovery and improvement criteria—not endless "still settling."

  • Yield: first-pass or operation yield—not impression sampling.
  • Delivery: promise-date hit—not "saved by overtime count."
  • Inventory: reconcilable book vs physical—not temporary reshuffle.
Quality and planning comparing yield and delivery before and after
Three-way comparison in acceptance. Without it, transformation answers only to the vendor.

Feature Acceptance Serves Metric Acceptance

Modules can roll in phases; metrics must explain. The XYN digital intelligence system keeps quality, delivery, and inventory on one work-order fact—acceptance ties to documents not slides. Metrics move—features are admitted by the plant. Metrics flat—advanced buzzwords are new logins only.

Inventory reconciles—digital touched physical. Else reports are another ledger.
